Ready for the Algarve Boat Festival on a shared deluxe catamaran?One stage, multiple dance floors and the western Algarve composing the scene. This innovative concept of multiple private parties, together, for a single show, like a drive-in festival instead of a cinema where the cars are boats. Physical distance and open-air are guaranteed. Festival-goers join on their own boat, whether theirs or rented.
For this third edition of the Algarve Boat Festival, on August 29th, the celebration of the local “Festa do Banho”, we present the same line-up as the first edition of the festival, which was on the same date last year and was a blast! So, we have the “Algarvian” Pete Tha Zouk as the headliner, a true national reference when it comes to electronic music with international success. To warm-up, we’ll have lovely DJ Astrella pairing up with Carlos Glória Sax, Lagos local, to get the party boats ready for this incredible summer party! The artists will play at the main boat, which won’t have any guests besides the organization team on board.
The Algarve Boat Festival has the support of the Municipality of Lagos and the Marina of Lagos. The Marina offers the night after the festival for boats from other Marinas. And the Port of Lagos, as well as the maritime police, will be present to enforce the Contingency Plan in order to comply with the “Safe Event” requirements, according to the DGS guidelines.
Please note that the boarding times may differ according to the boat you’re going on, most likely at 15h00 or before and arrival should be after 19h00. The Festival site is in front of Luz Bay, but most boats will depart from Lagos Marina (Portimão is also an option). You’ll find all details in your confirmation email.

The boat has a capacity of 98 pax as it is very spacious, but for the festival, in order to guarantee space for dancing and complying with physical distance, the boat will be limited to just 40 festival-goers.
Basic Safety Rules:
Alcoholic beverages should be consumed in moderation.
It is strictly forbidden to jump into the water in the festival area. Outside the are, the rules of each boat apply.
The consumption of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances is prohibited.
The skipper will follow the route and training directions indicated by the organization.
