Are you ready to go coasteering the Algarve’s coastline?Never heard of coasteering? Well, if you like adrenaline and the ocean, why not give it a try? Coasteering the Algarve’s coastline is a true boost of adrenaline while you’re progressing in between the coastline and the ocean.
Coasteering the Algarve’s coastline is swimming, walking, jumping from cliffs and a lot of fun. Coasteering is the perfect outdoor activity for active people visiting the western Algarve.
If you join us for this coasteering adventure, we will take you to our stunning location for this activity, located in the natural park of the Costa Vicentina, right between Sagres and Lagos.
You can meet us in Raposiera at our meeting point, or we provide pick-up at your hotel if it’s located in between these two cities and we’ll also drop you off there.
After getting ready with a wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet and shoes, assessing the conditions and a safety briefing, we’re ready for some true adventure.
We’ll walk down to the water’s edge and start our route exploring the coastline, hidden beaches, amazing cliffs, rock formations and clear ocean waters.
You’ll be impressed by the natural beauty of the Algarve coast and coasteering the Algarve’s coastline is a very unique way to enjoy this hidden gem. With our local and experienced guide, you’ll also be learning about the marine environment and some local traditions.
Basically, you’ll spend half a day swimming in the ocean, inside sea caves, climbing and walking along the rocky shoreline and doing some cliff jumping. We can even jump inside the grottoes.
We believe this is the perfect activity to do together with a group of friends or family, or even a team-building experience.
After all the action, we’ll walk back over the cliffs along the coastal path for a scenic experience while chatting about your session. The total duration of this experience varies between 3 and 4 hours.
FAQ What should I wear for this experience?All gear is included in the experience, so all you need is your bathing suit. And don’t forget sunscreen. Watches and jewellery can stay at home and for girls, it’s recommended to use a ponytail.
Where can I store my belongings during the tour?You can store your belongings in your own (rental) car or with the guides, in their van. Camera-wise, no worries; the guides will take some stunning pictures and send them to you per email!
Is this tour suitable for people who’ve never done this experience?Yes, this coasteering experience is designed for beginners. There will be a brief safety briefing to learn about the do’s and don’ts and the best ways to jump.
Do I need to jump from the highest cliffs?No. This is one of the nice things about this activity. You can jump from as high as you like as you can always climb down a bit. No pressure 😉
Is coasteering suitable for kids?This tour is designed for adults with some strength and swimming skills. We also have coasteering in the Algarve for kids. Feel free to contact us about this.
